Jay Kumar Infraprojects was appointed as the civil contractor in September 2019, with a contract value of 342 crores.
The 9.209 km Line-10 is slated to be extended southwards from Gaymukh to Shivaji Chowk (Mira Road) with four stations. The Maharashtra government granted clearance for construction on July 24, 2019, followed by a ceremonial groundbreaking by the Prime Minister of India on September 9, 2019.
The 12.774 km Line-11 from Bhakti Park (Wadala) to CSMT will have stations at Wadala RTIO, Ganesh Nagar, BPT Hospital, Shivdi, Hey Bunder, Koyla Bunder, Darukhana, Wadi Bunder, Clock Tower, Karnak Tower, and Kasamth.
